Chips was rescued from the streets as a tiny kitten with his two siblings after their mother died. He has grown into a sweet, handsome, teenaged brown-tabby boy with greenish-amber eyes. He is super affectionate with people and other cats, and coexisted happily for months with his littermates Cherry and Cheeto.
Chips enjoys and revels in the company of his gal pal, Lola (see Adoption Gallery); yet he is very people-oriented, and when you walk into the room, Chips runs up to greet you and wind around your ankles. He loves to explore and experience everything that life has to offer. Chips is smart and curious, filled with the joy of exploration and discovery, but still relishes a game or other fun or relaxed interaction with you. He likes cuddling and nuzzling with you; loves having his luxurious, silken coat stroked; and entertains himself and you with his antics with toys.
Chips will make some lucky person or family a terrific companion, but does enjoy the company of another cat of similar age as a buddy. He will adore your attention and affection, but Chips definitely should live with another feline. He would especially like to move into your household with his kitty companion, Lola.
Chips is happy and healthy, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and negative for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) and FeLV (feline leukemia).
The Fine Print — While Community Cat Rescue would love to make our adoptable cats and kittens available to everyone, everywhere, we must limit our adoption service area to San Francisco Peninsula cities and towns. We simply do not have the volunteer-power or financial resources to make home visits (required for all adoptions), delivery of adopted cats/kittens and follow-up visits outside the Peninsula. An occasional, rare exception might be made, but it is not the rule.
