Grover (now Pickles) has been adopted!

Grover (now Pickles) w/RS (CCR #1071)
Male
Domestic Short Hair / Tabby
Orange and White Orange marble tabby w/white

Grover is a sweetheart, who thinks his way into every new situation. Friendly, but careful to assess and a little cautious about change, Grover may sit back and give some quiet thought to a new circumstance. But, as with all cats, curiosity gets the better of him, and he simply has to join in...and then with abandon.

Grover loves to be petted, especially once he knows you a little, and then he becomes a perpetual purr machine in your arms or lap. Grover has a silky, short-hair coat, with intense marmalade tabby marbeling, four white legs, and a white chest and belly...a real stunner.

Grover was born in a neighborhood in a mid-Peninsula city. His mom was a very wily, feral cat, who eluded trappers last season, and had been known to have had a previous litter. She returned to the same house each time, bringing her tiny kittens into the homeowner's garage, but by the time the person could call and get a trapper out, the mom would have removed the kittens to a new hiding place. This time, the planets aligned, the call was made, the trapper arrived, and Grover was taken into care.

Charming Grover and his gal pal, Sassy, are hoping for an indoor home with lots of attention, gentle affection and rollicking play with you...'Yes, yes, swish that feather wand around some more!' This kitten pair is just waiting for you to claim them as your own. You will be delightfully entertained with Grover's ball-playing prowess and his feather-wand fettish, while ladylike Sassy will lie in your lap, purring nonstop, watching Grover's antics with you...though she is not above joining in the fun.

The Fine Print — While Community Cat Rescue would love to make our adoptable cats and kittens available to everyone, everywhere, we must limit our adoption service area to San Francisco Peninsula cities and towns. We simply do not have the volunteer-power or financial resources to make home visits (required for all adoptions), delivery of adopted cats/kittens and follow-up visits outside the Peninsula. An occasional, rare exception might be made, but it is not the rule.

BLACK KITTEN ADOPTION SPECIAL!

Did you know that black kittens have the hardest time finding homes, despite their wonderful personalities? So give them a look, because adoption fees for solid black or black and white kittens are now only $25. All kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped with lifetime registration, tested for FIV/FeLV, and vaccinated, too.

THE FINE PRINT – Adoptions limited to Peninsula locations. Exceptions possible.
