Eclipse has been adopted!

Eclipse w/RS (CCR #1077)
Male
Domestic Short Hair
Black Black

Eclipse is a big, handsome, super-sleek and shiny black cat, with a distinctive white locket (spot) on his chest. He was found wandering in the Peninsula hills, no safe place for a domestic pussycat! Eclipse has adapted well to indoor life, so it is even more surprising that he survived alone in the hills.

Eclipse is an affectionate boy who likes attention, which makes it even sadder that someone may have dumped him. For a large cat, Eclipse is surprisingly adept at curling up in a lap. He loves to be petted, especially loves head and neck rubs, and will lean into those massages for more, more, more, please!

A vigorous, playful, muscular boy, a vet said that Eclipse could be as old as 4 years, but he plays like a 2-year-old cat, barely into adulthood. Though he has adapted beautifully to life indoors, he might enjoy some supervised access to the outside under safe conditions (a walled garden or patio, enclosed cat run, low-traffic street, etc.). And since he survived in the hills by himself, we expect he could keep your yard clear of rodents, as well.

Eclipse is healthy, with a good appetite! He tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and like all of our cats, Eclipse is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

THE FINE PRINT – Adoptions limited to SF Mid-Peninsula locations. Exceptions possible.
