Sammy is a quiet, sweet boy, who loves being in your lap and being petted, but he also likes 'hunting' his toy mice, and capturing the feather wand. And, he PURRS! Well, when does he not?! Sammy was outwardly friendly to people from the start, and now is a card-carrying people lover. Like his brother Silver, Sammy sports a medium-length white coat with attractive gray markings, a fluffy tail, tufted ears, and sizable mitts, all good indicators of possible Maine Coon lineage. As if that weren't enough, he looks like a 'calendar cat,' with his cashmere-soft coat that blooms with good health.
Rescued from a bad situation in a noisy, dirty auto salvage yard on the mid-Peninsula, Sammy, his two brothers, and a sister, came to us older than we usually take in kittens. But they all were so easily handleable from Day 1 that we simply had to rescue them from their dangerous digs, and help them find safe, loving homes. Is there room in your home and heart for sweet, beautiful Sammy and one of his sibs? He and brother Silver make a heart-stoppingly stunning pair!
The Fine Print — While Community Cat Rescue would love to make our adoptable cats and kittens available to everyone, everywhere, we must limit our adoption service area to San Francisco Peninsula cities and towns. We simply do not have the volunteer-power or financial resources to make home visits (required for all adoptions), delivery of adopted cats/kittens and follow-up visits outside the Peninsula. An occasional, rare exception might be made, but it is not the rule.
