Like her sister, Dinah, Pearl also enjoys a splash in the tub! Water generally is not a usual plaything for kittens and cats, but Pearl and her Sis just love it, and will splash around in a few inches in the bathtub. Or maybe they are just fascinated with the duckies on the tub bottom?
Born to a blue-eyed Siamese-mix mama, with a very fluffy gray and white dad (now neutered!), these little tykes were abandoned on the street at around 5 or 6 weeks old, in a mid-Peninsula neighborhood, without food, water or shelter. They were taken in to their rescuer's home, returned to good health, and have continued to thrive on affection and good food.
Pearl is the more adventuresome and independent of the pair, though loves a good snuggle with you. Pearl is especially fond of male humans, so if you have one of those in your home, she will be devoted to him. Both these girls are sweet and super friendly, very bonded to each other, and very social with both people and other cats. The adult cat in some of the photos is an 'uncle' (not available for adoption) who lives in their foster home, and dotes on the kittens.
This pair will be a terrific addition to any household, and especially great for first-time kitty owners, and for families with gentle children.
The Fine Print — While Community Cat Rescue would love to make our adoptable cats and kittens available to everyone, everywhere, we must limit our adoption service area to San Francisco Peninsula cities and towns. We simply do not have the volunteer-power or financial resources to make home visits (required for all adoptions), delivery of adopted cats/kittens and follow-up visits outside the Peninsula. An occasional, rare exception might be made, but it is not the rule.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Adoption fees are only $15 per kitten or cat through January 5, 2016.
