Sandro was found living in a parking lot at a Peninsula apartment complex. He was friendly and sweet to the volunteers who fed the group of feral cats living in the area, and clearly had been someone's pet, as he has no fear of people. When the trappers arrived to collect him, no trapping necessary. They just picked him up and put him into a cat carrier.
Sandro enjoys playing with small toys on his own, or with one of his fosterers' cats, and loves playing with and leaping for a ribbon wand. This handsome boy definitely was used to interacting with people for playtime. He sits on your lap for petting, enjoys being combed and brushed, can easily be picked up and carried for short distances, though prefers ambulating on his own four paws. A sweet, mellow guy, Sandro easily breaks into a purr with just a kind word. Sandro has the run of his fosterers' house, but sleeps in the guestroom at night.
Sandro is neutered, microchipped, tested negative, and vaccinated. While the picture of health, Sandro has asthma, which is well and easily controlled with a once-daily inhaled medication. He can be adopted as an only cat, though probably would enjoy and get along with your mellow young adult kitty. He previously lived and peacefully coexisted in a small group of outdoor cats of both genders, and now interacts with his fosterers' own pet cats.
