Max and his siblings were rescued from a junkyard in Fremont, and when they arrived their little feet were caked with grime and grease. But they cleaned up nicely, and have learned to be purrfect little house cats!

Max is not the largest, but he definitely was the bravest. When he thought his siblings were under threat, he turned into a protective Super-Kitten. But once he realized that the strange people who trapped and medicated and bathed them meant no harm, he could relax and enjoy life in foster care. A leisurely breakfast, a romp with his siblings, a little birdwatching (see pic below), and then maybe a nap...ah...life is purrfect. And Max has a secret: his first human friend was an exchange student from Japan, the perfect companion because they could both learn of the strange way of life in California together...and perhaps Max learned a few words of Japanese too!

These cool kittens have also learned about other strange creatures called 'dogs.' Their foster parents have three of them! So Max would be happy to get acquainted with your cat-friendly dog, too.
