This litter of eight...yes, EIGHT!...was discovered in a resident's immediate vicinity on the mid-Peninsula. As she is not allowed to have a cat in her dwelling, she asked if we could capture the kittens, take them into foster care, and then adopt them to forever homes. She even assisted us with trapping.

On the first try, seven kittens were trapped, but the eighth kitten and momcat became very trap-wary after seeing the other kittens enter and then disappear, so trapping was halted for a few days in hopes that they will have forgotten the experience and will enter the traps. It worked, as two days later both mom and the eighth kitten walked into the trap together. Mom has been spayed and now lives in the resident's backyard, and the kitten joined his siblings in our foster care.

This B-I-G family is offered for adoption, mostly in pairs. All have been spayed/neutered, tested, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and were flea- and worm-treated on arrival.
