Andante is a playful boy! This playful, tabby with gorgeous markings is outgoing and engaged, and he keeps track of whatever is going on in his foster home.  Andante loves attention, and purrs as soon as he sees one of his people approaching.  He will snuggle with you for a bit, then wants to play! Andante especially loves chasing the teaser toy across the room, and playing with toys with bells.  If not playing, he is exploring; just checking out what you are doing in the kitchen or what the neighborhood birds and squirrels are doing outside the window.

He adores his Siamese-mix sister Allegra, and loves to romp and tumble and explore with her. They entertain each other endlessly. Once he's had his fill, he loves to snuggle up with her for a nap in the kitty hammock, or he will get cozy in his cat bed or make a nest out of blankets.

Both Allegra and Andante are comfortable around his foster-family's small dog, so it would be an easy transition for them to make friends with a cat-friendly dog.

Allegra and Andante's long-suffering mama-cat managed to raise 8 (yes eight!) kittens living homeless on the streets.  Fortunately, when they were about 4 weeks old a kind family saw the mama-cat hiding her babies under a storage shed for safety and began to feed the brood.  They called Community Cat Rescue for help and with their assistance we trapped all 8 kittens and their mama.  Mama, who is feral,  was spayed, given a health check, vaccinated, treated for parasites and released back in the neighborhood, where the family will be feeding her.  Live will be easier now that she doesn't have to worry about caring for endless litters of kittens, and she has shelter and a regular supply of good food. Happy endings all around!
