Quincy is described by his fosterers as a real lover boy. He will rub against your legs if you are standing, and almost any part of you when you are sitting, and will fall asleep upside-down in the crook of your arm. He has a very high happiness quotient, and his purr can be heard across the room.

Born into a litter of three boys, Quincy appointed himself as guardian and defender. He does not have a mean bone in his body, and would never do anything overt...no biting, scratching, striking. But he was called 'Growly Pants' in the early days, because if anyone approached the cage when all three boys were housed together, Quincy would let out a fierce, throaty growl to warn away the intruder. The tough-guy act is far behind him, and this is now one totally sweet pussycat.

Quincy keeps himself busy and entertained with small soft toys and jingly balls, loves dangly wand toys, and is especially mad for those colorful spiral springs. This kitten gives the impression he is a Grand Poobah while lounging in his hammock or on the cat tree, a favorite pass-time. Even though Quincy is a just a 'kid', a teenager still not totally sure within himself, he gives the impression of a career politician about to run for high office...and win! Rather than that being off-putting, it is funny and adorable. Despite his exalted opinion of himself, Quincy really is just a down-to-earth, play-stick-ball-on-the-playground little guy. And he loves, loves, loves his people; cannot get close enough, or petted enough. When his fosterers are not around, he hangs out with the fosterers' housecats, and their two dogs. He has been known to seek out the biggest one, and give himself head rubs on him!

Quincy has been neutered, tested, microchipped, FVRCP and Rabies vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms. Beautifully marked with a fluffy, cashmere-quality coat, and acquainted with the social graces, Quincy is ready for adoption. If he chooses you, it will be your lucky day.
