Cricket is sweet, affectionate and inquisitive, and is an all-around enthusiastic little kitty. Her foster mom says "Cricket is a real sweetheart and will make your home a happy place!"

This teenage girl, about 10 months old, has the energy of a younger kitten when you want to play with her, but the stability of an adult cat who enjoys "quiet time" when you are at work. We guess that she spends that time sleeping or watching the world outside the window, because everything is still perfectly in place when her foster parents come home, and not even a cat toy has been moved.

But when you do arrive home, Cricket will turn on the charm, follow you around, and generally communicate her joy at seeing you again. Playtime is lots of fun and she loves to chase dangly feather toys, or chase after a toy mouse. She will be happy to meet your friends too, because Cricket is not at all shy and wants to make new friends. She also seems to like kids!

Cricket found living with a group of homeless feral cats on the Mid-Peninsula. She distinguished herself immediately as a friendly cat who had been abandoned and who, after living on the streets, really, really wanted to be around people again. Despite her time on the streets, she was very healthy though think, and only needed nutritious food to help her gain a little weight.

Cricket has been spayed, tested, microchipped, FVRCP and rabies vaccinated, and treated for fleas and worms.
