Josephine, 'Josie' to her nearest and dearest, was found all alone in a small group of feral cats on the mid-Peninsula. Unclear whether she had gotten separated from her mom or siblings, so she was scooped up and taken into foster care.
Josie is a very sweet, gentle kitten, quite adorable...cast a look in her direction and she purrs, reach a hand out to her and she flops over on her side for some welcome strokes. She can entertain herself with her toys, but also likes interacting with you and a wand toy. For a while, Josie was paired with a sweet tabby boy, and they got along great together, but currently she is fostered alone.
We think Josie would do best adopted into a home where there is an existing, self-assured but mellow male kitten or a playful young-adult male cat. But she will do just fine alone, if adopted into a home where she is not left alone for 8-10 hours a day, where someone works part-time or works at home, or does not work outside the home.
Spayed, tested, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated as age-appropriate, and treated for fleas and worms.
