Unlike his namesake, the prince Ali Baba of 1940's children's story and movie fame ('Ali Baba and The 40 Thieves), our Ali Baba did not mind at all being 'stolen from his kingdom'...or, rather, being captured and removed from life in a homeless-cat colony, located dangerously close to a heavily-traveled roadway.

Ali Baba came to us all by himself, no companion or sibling, and most recently has been fostered in a home with a cat-friendly dog. They took to each other instantly, and have become good pals. So 'Baba' would do well in an adoptive home with a cat-friendly dog, or as an only kitty as long as he is not left alone for 8 or 10 hours a day while still in his kittenhood. He would be an ideal companion for someone who works at home, or works part-time, or does not work at all outside the home.

This is one handsome fluffy kitty, who enjoys being petted in your lap, and can entertain himself with his stuffed mousies and bell balls. Check out his long ear tufts and whiskers, so reminiscent of Maine Coon characteristics, not to mention his gorgeous coat.

Neutered, tested, microchipped, given age-appropriate FVRCP vaccinations, and treated for fleas and worms.
